Good Morning Robyn,
As I write this, you and my yoga kula are probably in down dog. I miss you and my connection with that group and a connection to something much bigger than all of us. I always knew that I/we were blessed to have you and Inner Freedom yoga guiding us to places deep within ourselves and deep into asana. So far my response to my new local yogic experience is to bow deeper to you, to who you are and to what you have created.

I have always appreciated your commitment and dedication to your work and your journey – always continuing to study, learn and then share that with us and in a way that is genuine, vulnerable, and strong. I know I can take that gift with me and share it as I teach. However, I think you are irreplaceable, my Dear. (sigh)

Hi Robyn
I feel wonderful after Tuesday night’s intro class! My body really responded in great ways. Knee discomfort was diminished, hips weren’t stiff, general movement was easier, muscles felt toned. I can tell I’ll be a regular of your classes.

Robyn, your classes really help strengthen and open both the shoulder and pelvic girdle and I usually feel so much more blood pumping through areas and overall limber and loose.   In fact I usually feel great for some time after your class.  The level works for me (as long as I’m not having the back issue which I can then modify)  and I love the challenging, strength-ening positions.   And, your attention to the detail of our stances is really astute and I so appreciate your noticing and helping us get into it properly.  And, being that the class is small the one on one you are able to give is great.  Your detail of our stances is so helpful great because I now realize I have done many yoga positions incorrectly until I came to your class.|

Robyn, I wanted to give you some biomechanics feedback from Monday night’s class.  You may recall that I’ve got pretty severe osteoarthritis in my right hip.  It’s about 50% bone on bone with some groovy bone spurs and cysts and other cool stuff.  I have an especially hard time with wide legged poses, especially when the feet are parallel.

All of the “enjoy the abundance” thigh spreading stuff I was pretty sure was going to leave me aching the next day, but surprise, my hip felt GREAT, for days!  I was trying to figure out why and don’t know, but one thing I think is happening is the exercises we were doing were really stretching the deep ligaments in the joint capsule, significantly loosening up the joint.  I actually noticed that very night when we were doing warrior that it was less scary and I was able to go deeper with more ease and strength.

Now I’m spending even more time, when I’m standing around, inward spiraling and pushing out, and it feels great. Thanks for being such a great teacher.

IMMERSION and TEACHER TRAINING: (more in side bar)
This immersion/teacher training has been an amazing experience, both internally and externally.  I loved every minute of it!  Our group of trainees learned and grew so much from beginning to end.  Robyn has a wealth of experience, knowledge, loves her work and truly is a bright light in the yoga community.  I am so grateful to have had the chance to learn from her and gain the skills to be a teacher.  This training has given me a deeper awareness of self and of others, I truly feel more connected to Source than ever before.  Thank you Robyn for your generous heart.
